About the roleWe are seeking a dynamic professional to manage the Tenant Installation Department of the full building services component of commercial and retail ensuring that the operation runs smoothly and effectively. Ensure premises handed over to tenant within the time frame in order for achieving beneficial occupation dates.
What you will bring
Inherent requirements for the position (non-negotiable)
- Grade 12
- 3 years minimum experience in a variety of building services roles with emphasis on tenant installations with Project Management experience.
- Background in architecture advantageous
- Business procedures, rules and processes
- Legislation and regulations
- Computer literate
- Manage daily operations of the portfolio in line with legislation, standards, and company parameters.
- Ensure strict adherence to Occupational Health & Safety requirements.
- Oversee tenant operational issues, including compliance with lease agreements, building standards, and emergency response protocols.
- Conduct regular tenant visits, inspections, and ensure compliance certificates are collected and verified.
- Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and scheduled works to minimize disruption and maintain building efficiency.
- Manage tenant take‑on and take‑back inspections, ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of plans, inspections, communications, and tracking schedules.
- Monitor supplier performance, coordinate service providers with procurement, and ensure quality deliverables.
- Manage expenses within budget and maintain transparent reporting.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, contractors, architects, leasing teams, and asset managers.
